This course is the final part of the master'92s program thesis. Students work under the supervision of a thesis advisory committee to develop the theory and algorithms of the proposed research topic, usually leading to creation of a prototype to verify the theory and methods. Upon completion of the class, the student must submit his or her formal written thesis to the advisory committee and pass an oral exam defending the thesis.
